開啟社會科學本土化的里程碑 何謂「轉道成知」呢？中華文化的智慧，不能只是任其在民間發展，或者在文史哲領域被視作邊緣化的學術議題，其自身需要有個轉化歷程，能發展成社會科學的知識，尤其儒釋道三家都在討論的自性議題，這本來是古典中國的公共語言，卻在西風東漸後被華人社會視作學術禁忌，這並不是正常的社會現象。華人本土社會科學發展過程中有個無法繞開的「黃光國難題」（Hwang Kwang-Kuo Problem），這是什麼樣的難題呢？ 在《轉道成知：華人本土社會科學的突圍》中，陳復指出我們應該從承認「心體」的角度，來開展相應的科學哲學來面對生命世界，進而完成「中西會通」與「儒佛會通」的義理，成熟發展出具有中華思想性質的華人本土社會科學。無人文則無法立國，社會科學的本土化，需要有人文知識來當梁柱支撐，將所謂的「文史哲」這類知識重組成系統化的理論，讓其蛻變成社會科學可理解與應用的學術語言，這就是解決黃光國難題需要跨過的知識門檻。 西元2020年的尾聲，新冠肺炎疫情正在肆虐全球，無數人失去寶貴的生命，人類文明已來到十字路口。尤其華人社會如果再不意識到如何將社會科學本土化，將很難因應被強權刻意設立文明衝突產生的險局與陷阱。雅斯培（Karl Theodor Jaspers, 1883-1969）曾提出東西四大聖哲共譜轉軸世紀（Achsenzeit）的說法，陳復懷著無限的樂觀，期待《轉道成知：華人本土社會科學的突圍》有如野人獻曝，藉由「金針度人」，來呼喚群賢輩出，人類第二個轉軸世紀就此到來。 名人推薦 陳復是王陽明「心學」的忠實繼承者，他又深受趙金祈「求如」之說的影響，陳復所說的「黃光國難題」，其實是他自己的難題；他所說的「黃光國迷陣」，其實也是他自己的迷陣，我們兩種不同「進路」的對話，不僅可以打破雙方個人視域的盲點，幫助對方完成他自身，更重要的是可以改變五四以來，華人學術界「自我殖民」的心態，開創出一種學術論辯生機活潑的新風氣。 ──黃光國（國立臺灣大學心理學系名譽教授） 學術要進步、思想要創造，話語的爭辯、議論是需要的，生命的激活，實存的契入尤其重要。論辯不是為了輸贏，而是要解開話語，回歸存在。存在者，「存」而「在」也。存者，存誠閑其邪，生生不息也。在者，充實光輝，如如安在也。陳復對於「黃光國難題」的討論，在本土文明的發展，在東亞學術的進程，是有其精神史意義的。 ──林安梧（慈濟大學宗
