本報告旨在提供研究人員一個較宏觀的視角觀察全球能源科學發展脈絡，以及政府擘 劃我國能源永續藍圖之資源配置參考，俾利台灣能源科技發展茁壯。由Essential Science Indicators 高被引論文之共同引用關係所建立的研究前沿(research fronts)，不僅是科睿唯安 (Clarivate Analytics)建立的一套計量分析資料庫，同時也是研究人員追蹤全球科研發展路徑的 一項利器。本研究藉此資料庫分析能源科學領域之研究前沿，在科睿唯安於2019年3月發佈的 8,914項研究前沿中，摘錄總被引用數Top30之能源領域研究前沿主題，共計676篇核心論文。 本研究報告針對676篇核心論文進行樣態分析，包含全球核心論文整體分析(論文分佈地圖、歷 年論文發表數與被引用數趨勢)、各國核心論文特性統計(論文數、總被引用數、論文影響力)、 主要研究單位、補助機構分佈，同時簡述各研究前沿主題之重點內容。研究結果顯示，美國 和中國在總被引用數Top30能源領域研究前沿之核心論文發表量分別佔有42.5%和39.8%的比 重，足見兩國在能源科學領域的優勢地位。在能源科學領域Top30研究前沿主題中，台灣總共 有14篇核心論文的發表，其中有9篇核心論文為台灣學研單位獨立完成的研究成果。最後，藉 由Top30研究前沿歸納出16個研究主題進行關鍵字檢索，進一步分析台灣相關學術能量，提供 我國研究前沿發展路徑規劃之參考。
