商品簡介
This collection of readings will help pre- and in-service middle and high school teachers understand difficult issues in society, in the classroom, and instructional practice issues, ranging from sexual minority students to technology in the classroom, using assessment for data-based decision making, and preparing adolescents to work together collaboratively. Contributors offer insight on integrating developmental and sociological theories into secondary education, and show how teachers can address relevant real-world issues in their classrooms while still teaching the school's established curriculum.
