商品簡介
This volume collects 32 short stories by ten contemporary Palestinian women holding Israeli citizenship, an identity that places them amidst multiple marginalities, as notes editor Assadi (English, The College of Sakhnin for Teacher Education, Israel). This position of multiple marginality provides the raison detre for the collection (the fourth in a series on Palestinian short fiction writers edited by Assadi), which provides space for the authors to "challenge norms, fight oppression, burst closed doors and show their true faces." Assadi provides a short biography for each of the ten authors. Annotation c2011 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
