HAYO REINDERS is Lecturer in Second Language Studies at the University of Hawai'i and is editor of Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching. He was previously Director of the English Language Self-Access Center at the University of Auckland and Visiting Professor at Meiji University in Japan. He has published two co-authored books with Palgrave Macmillan: The International Students Handbook and Study Skills for Speakers of English as a Second Language.

SHAWN LOEWEN is Assistant Professor in the Second Language Studies program at Michigan State University. He teaches courses in second language acquistion and research methodology, and has published in leading journals including Studies in Second Language Aquisition, Language Learning and Modern Language Journal.
