Papers from the 25th International Colloquium of the Corpus Vitrearum are devoted to the study of stained glass from the late 18th century. They center on collections of stained glass, collectors' motivations, the journeys and fates of various panels and windows, and museum display of stained glass. Some papers are in English, some are in German, and some are in French. Topics include the American afterlife of the Park Abbey Glass, the sale of the Altenberg and St. Apren stained glass to Shrewsbury, and the restoration of stained glass from the State Hermitage Museum collection. Tim Ayers is a Senior Lecturer in the History of Art at the University of York, specializing in British art and architecture of the high and later middle ages, especially stained glass. He is a member of the British Committee of the Corpus Vitrearum and Vice President of the International Committee of the Corpus Vitrearum. He has published on the stained glass of Wells Cathedral and Merton College, Oxford.
Brigitte Kurmann-Schwarz is research scholar at the Vitrocentre Romont since 1992 and a Senior Lecturer in the History of Art at the University of Zurich since 2001. She is a member of the Swiss National Committee and President of the International Committee of the Corpus Vitrearum from 2004 to 2012, and the author of two Corpus volumes for Switzerland, as well as of numerous articles on medieval art and stained glass.
Claudine Lautier is a research scholar of the CNRS at the Centre Andre Chastel, Laboratoire de Recherche en Histoire de l’Art, and Vice-President of the International Committee of the Corpus Vitrearum. She has published on French Gothic architecture, Romanesque and Gothic stained glass and medieval treatises on the arts. Her present research is mainly focused upon Chartres Cathedral.
Hartmut Scholz is director of the Research Centre of the German Corpus Vitrearum in Freiburg i.B. and since 2004 scientific Secretary of the International Committee of the Corpus Vitrearum; he is the author of two volumes for the German Corpus Vitrearum, on the medieval stained glass in Franconia and Nuremberg, and in Ulm Minster. He has published numerous articles on late medieval and early modern art, especially on stained glass.

Hartmut Scholz ist Leiter der Freiburger Arbeitsstelle des Corpus Vitrearum Deutschland und seit 2004 wissenschaftlicher Sekretar des internationalen Komitees des Corpus Vitrearum; Autor von zwei Banden des Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi Deutschland uber die Glasmalereien der Region Mittelfranken/Nurnberg und des Ulmer Munsters sowie zahlreicher Beitrage zur Kunst des Spatmittelalters und der fruhen Neuzeit mit Schwerpunkt Glasmalerei.
