商品簡介
The series seeks to provide critical editions of significant Church of Ireland archives and manuscripts with substantial interpretative and explanatory apparatus. This sixth volume focuses on the oldest surviving parish church in Dublin city, built about 1190. The records of vestry meetings that the churchwardens of St. Audoen's began to keep in 1636 may be the first ones, because the Protestant population of the parish was very small until about then. An introduction explores the political, religious, social, and economic context of meetings. Distributed in the US by ISBS. Annotation c2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
