Joint Optimization Of Maintenance And Production Policies

This book presents the recent work regarding the different approaches developed in the framework of the joint optimization of intelligent maintenance and production strategies. The originality of these strategies is that they take various constraints into account, including production management, subcontracting environmental degradation, inspection and product quality.

Nidhal Rezg is Professor at the University of Lorraine, France, and has been Director of the "Genie de Industriel, de Production et de de Maintenance" (LGIPM) laboratory in Metz since 2006. He has written approximately 60 articles in international journals. His research interests include the modeling, simulation and optimization of stochastic processes, reliability and maintenance and Petri nets.

Sofiene Dellagi is Assistant Professor at the University of Lorraine, France. He is a member of the "Genie Industriel, de Production et de Maintenance" (LGIPM) laboratory in Metz. His research works concentrate on reliability, maintenance, production management and the optimization of production systems of goods and services.

Abdelhakim Khatab is Assistant Professor at the Ecole Nationale d’Ingenieurs de Metz, France. He is a member of the Maintenance and Production Management team of the "Genie Industriel, de Production et de Maintenance" (LGIPM) laboratory in Metz. His research works focus on reliability design and analysis, and maintenance optimization? of production systems of goods and services.
