伯特蘭•羅素是二十世紀英國哲學家、數學家、邏輯學家、歷史學家，無神論或者不可知論者，也是上世紀西方最著名、影響最大的學者和和平主義社會活動家之一，羅素也被認為是與弗雷格、維特根斯坦和懷特海一同創建了分析哲學。他與懷特海合著的《數學原理》對邏輯學、數學、集合論、語言學和分析哲學有著巨大影響。1950年，羅素獲得諾貝爾文學獎,以表彰其“多樣且重要的作品，持續不斷的追求人道主義理想和思想自由”。

學術簡歷：博士,畢業于墨西哥國立自治大學哲學研究所，曾任教于墨西哥莫雷羅州立自治大學人文系哲學部，墨西哥理工大學研究生部，科學方法與理論所。現在任教于復旦大學哲學學院。
