The best-selling and much-admired children's author Margaret Mahy (1936?2012) wrote more than 200 books for children and is considered one of the outstanding children's writers of the 20th century. She was given the Hans Christian Andersen Medal, the highest international recognition granted to children's authors, and twice won the Carnegie Medal. Also the author of Dashing Dog, Down the Back of the Chair, Bubble Trouble, and The Man from the Land of Fandango, she died in 2012. Best-selling children's book illustrator Margaret Chamberlain is the illustrator of Has Anyone Seen Jack?, Look Out He's Behind You, Tales from Grimm, My Two Grannies, and My Two Grandads. She lives in Dorset, U.K.
