Gill Lobel was a teacher for many years, mainly teaching English in comprehensive schools. She has also worked with children with Special Educational Needs, and as a Home Tutor for sick or excluded children. She now spends most of her time writing. In 2000 Orchard Books published Ellie and the Butterfly Kitten, illustrated by Karin Littlewood. Gill lives in Leicester with her husband. She has two daughters, two grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. Sebastien Braun was born in France. He taught art and illustration for many years before deciding to become an illustrator himself. Sebastien has also illustrated Again! for Orchard, written by Ian Whybrow. He lives in London with his wife and child.
