商品簡介
Studies the development, role, and culture of television and television policy in Indonesia from 1962 to 1990. Describes how, under the New Order established in 1965, television is used to promote national unity and integration and political stability, and suggests that television has become a site for the contestation of the New Order's cultural policies. Speculates on the significant role that television is destined to play as a source of cultural and political struggle.
