商品簡介
Jodlowiec presents an original theoretical framework addressing the complex and intricate nature of the process behind ostensive implicit and explicit communication. The author has organized the main body of her text in four chapters devoted to relevance theory as a cognitive model of communication, explicatures and interpretation, within and beyond implicature, and relevance and the miracle of communication. Specific subjects addressed include cognitive effects and relevance, problems with free enrichments, implications versus implicatures, and many others.
