Darra Goldstein is a professor of Russian at Williams College and the founding editor of the James Beard Award-winning journal Gastronomica. Goldstein has written and spoken extensively about the cuisines of the Far North and has consulted for the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and the Council of Europe. She has written or edited more than a dozen books, including The Georgian Feast, which won the 1994 IACP Julia Child Award.
