Eric Alliez is Professor of Contemporary French Philosophy at Kingston University, London. His many publications in both English and French includeThe Signature of the World (Continuum, 2004) andLa Pensee-Matisse (Passage, 2005).
Jean-Clet Martin is former programme director at the College de France, Paris.
Robin Mackay, the translator, is director of Urbanomic and editor of its journal,Collapse. He has translated a number of works of French philosophy, including Alain Badiou’sNumber and Numbers, Francois Laruelle’sThe Concept of Non-Photography andAnti-Badiou and Quentin Meillasoux’sThe Number and the Siren.
