Tyria D. Jones has been happily married for 4 ½ years to the love of her life. She is the mother of 4 beautiful young ladies and 3 handsome young men. She also has 3 adorable grandbabies. Her life is filled with overflowing joy, but it hasn’t always been so happy or easy. She struggled for most of her life trying to find out who God created her to be. What was her purpose in life? One day her husband encouraged her to write a book. In June 2015, she started writing A Crown of Beauty for Ashes. It took a lot of courage for her to share this story. There were times she was afraid to be transparent, but it is what God required. So she surrendered all to allow Him to use her for His work. As she wrote God healed her of every deep hurt and now she is free. You can also break the chains that have you bound. Tyria has always had a ministry for women and served in various leadership roles over the past ten years; however, it is through the pain that she overcame in her own life that God has allowed her to write this book. It is her desire that you will gain deliverance and freedom. It is also her desire to one day start the Tyria Jones Foundation for Women so that others will be able to live a life of freedom. Jesus came that we would have life more abundantly. This is her prayer for each of you. Each of you have a story to share! It’s time to walk in your purpose.

Tyria D. Jones grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with her mother and two sisters. She graduated from The University of Phoenix in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Tyria now lives in Katy, Texas with her husband and daughter Kiara. Her son Patrick also resides in Houston, Texas. She also has two daughters, Tyania and Kieana, who currently live in Columbus, Georgia. She was blessed with three additional children through marriage, Kenneisha, Kendall and Abram as well as three beautiful grandbabies. She is currently a member of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.
