In his groundbreaking work, Martin Haberman identified key dispositions of "star" teachers that help them work successfully with students in poverty. Djanna A. Hill is a Professor of Science and Urban Education at William Paterson University, where she also serves as Chairperson of the Department of Africana-World Studies and Director of the Robert Noyce Scholarship Program for STEM majors.
