50 Years of Marriage Blind and Bound: Deception by Manipulation

My story dive deep into how I was deceived by manipulation in my marriage. I was like a pitiful puppy permanently positioned under the table, waiting for the smallest crumbs of affection, from my husband. I begged for everything that was important to me, going to church as a family, date nights, social and family gatherings, board games, playing cards, and socializing with couples. I am no longer "under the table" begging for crumbs. Like a starving puppy, I lapped up the attention when it was convenient for him emotionally and sexually. I will never again wait to catch crumbs of love. God, in the name of Jesus rescued me! Now I know who I am, and my immeasurable value in Christ Jesus. I am a daughter of the kingdom of God. I know my posture and position, as I totally lean on the heavenly Father's guidance in my life!

Luna Verner was born in Oklahoma, attended college in Texas and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Luna spent the first fifteen years of her marriage in Oklahoma, then they migrated to Texas. Luna enjoys all kinds of creative arts. In her spare time, Luna loves baking, creating new dishes and canning anything she can get her hands on fruit, vegetables, and meats. Luna almost lost her mind trying to hold on to a marriage that took more of her than she wanted to give. Life circumstances took a toll on who she was originally and who she had become. Her marriage experience inspired her to begin writing.
