Body, Playfulness and Education

The book is a collection of articles aimed at discussing the importance of play and sensitive knowledge in children's physical education. To this end, the texts include some reports of experiences and other theoretical reflections on childhood play and its relationship with physical education classes. Play in children's physical education has a formative intention, which appears intertwined in the imaginative, expressive, sensitive and creative capacities of those involved. It presents itself as a possibility in the construction of knowledge, corresponding to an artistic process that allows children to experience their bodies in different dimensions of feeling, contributing to the construction of new knowledge and bodily actions.
