Spirits have many freedoms we in the physical do not. In the spirit realm, there is no concept of 'time, ' which helps to explain why Mediums can come across someone who walked the earth a century ago yet interact with them in the present. Spirits may choose to appear as a younger version of themselves, though they have lived to a great age. They can change their appearance in an instant, reveal hidden rooms, present images of artifacts relevant to the story they relay and 'speak' with words heard inside one's head. Believe it or not, yes, a spirit can move through tables and walls or hover in the air just like in the movies. As a Spiritual Medium, I hear, sense and engage with beings that those around me may not see. It took a little getting used to... Opening my heart to the world beyond, while at the 17 Mile House Pub, turned out to be one of those times. I came in contact with a spirit who, in turn, watched me closely to see if I might acknowledge her presence. She walked back and forth within my view, made eye contact, and then waited for a sign that I would believe in her--or perhaps more accurately, believe in myself. I did not, but she held out hope until I was ready.
