Trial By Demon

Trial By Demon is a slow-burn fantasy romance packed with high-stakes action, emotional chaos, and just the right amount of sarcastic commentary. Told primarily from Ana's point of view, the story follows a full-figured woman who grew up human-raised by her mortal father with zero clue about the immortal world lurking just out of sight.

Ana is best friends with Kate Adrasteia and has been magnetically drawn to Abaddon since their first encounter-when she was still a child and he was very much not. As spark meets kindling, Ana's life ignites into a full-blown inferno. What follows is a relentless rollercoaster of events she definitely did not sign up for: abduction, near-death experiences (plural), actual death (briefly), a sentient fuzzy GPS with an unhealthy obsession with tacos, more kidnappings, and-you guessed it-more almost-dying.

Through it all, Ana is just trying to stay alive, pretend none of this is real, and maybe-just maybe-convince Abaddon and his chosen mate to let her squeeze into their already complicated love story. You know, small goals.

Abaddon is the first-born son of Sirin and Karel Adrasteia-ancient, powerful, and only semi-civilized (despite knowing how to dress and use an iPhone). He's been bonded to Neros, his chosen mate, since the Norse days when the berserker tried to conquer his territory and got thoroughly conquered in return. Their relationship evolved from warrior and rival, to companion, to something much deeper and more permanent.

Then along comes Ana-his mythical soulmate. Maybe mortal. Maybe not. Her fate hinges on whether her dormant immortality ever activates. Spoiler: it does. Trauma has a way of speeding things along. Now Abaddon must figure out how to make room in his already busy, blood-soaked life for a woman who feels like she's always been a part of him.

Luckily, Neros is a fixer. He's always acted in Abaddon's best interests, and this time is no different. His love for Abaddon-and an unexplainable bond with Ana-helps them all find space in a relationship built for two... and now one more.
