When bedtime comes, the barnyard says "NO!"
At the Bouncing Baby Barn, the moon is high and the stars all glow-
but bedtime plans move terribly slow.
"Who's ready for bed?"
"Not us!" cluck the hens..
"Nor us!" quack the ducks.
"Definitely not us!" bleat the goats.
"It's not time for our pens!"
The loving caretaker tries and tries,
but the barn stays busy with clucks, quacks, and cries.
The minutes tick by. The hours creep past.
Who will fall asleep at last?
Just when the farm tucks in for the night,
a wise owl swoops in from his midnight flight.
Hoo-hoo! he hoots. "I've come to say-
it's time to begin a brand-new day!"
Get to Bed! is a silly, rhyming bedtime romp about stubborn farm animals, a patient grown-up, and a barnyard that just can't say goodnight-perfect for giggles, yawns, and one last laugh before lights out.
