商品簡介
Under the heading: "The new Mediation Act - a relief for the judiciary?", this book aims to shed light on the implementation of the Mediation Act and the extent to which mediation alleviates the workload of the courts. The author first describes the implementation of the European Directive on the introduction of a Mediation Act at national level. He then addresses two specific areas: An examination of the new Mediation Act and a practical assessment of whether the Mediation Act leads to a reduction in the workload of the judiciary. To help answer this question, surveys were conducted with individuals who, by virtue of their profession, possess specialist knowledge in the field of mediation. Following the presentation of the survey results, points of criticism regarding the Mediation Act are examined, and related suggestions and possible solutions are presented.
