The book is based on The Rainbow Bridge which is a description of where the treasured animals/pets go when they give up their earthly existence. A place of extreme animal happiness. Many veterinarians give out a copy of this to clients who have come in to ask for assistance in getting their elderly or sick love-pet across the bridge.
