In acupuncture, methods such as pulse examination, tongue examination, and others that vary depending on the individual are used for diagnosing diseases. These methods have relatively low reliability. As a result, sometimes the desired outcomes are not achieved, and doubts arise regarding the effectiveness of acupuncture. Therefore, for ten years, we have worked with capable students during our training sessions to develop a more effective and objective method. Together with them, we applied the method we found to our patients.
This method, which we named Microcolon Acupuncture, is applicable to people of all ages, in all positions, and provides immediate responses. It shortens the treatment time and can be used for both acute and chronic diseases.
This method does not require highly developed or specialized devices. It is a manual method. The treatment begins with abdominal palpation, and the sensitive (often painful) points on the index fingers corresponding to the areas found during palpation are needled. The treatment is completed after a 25-minute waiting period.
