After being forced to abandon his sister Gretel in a witch's gingerbread house, desert the cursed prince he adores, and cut the hearts out of innocent maidens to feed a flesh-eating queen, Hansel gives up on the possibility of his story ending in Happily Ever After.
But when the queen orders him to bring her the heart of her own daughter, Hansel decides that it's time to carve his own path by whatever means necessary.
