In the more than ten years in which I have been involved in museum work，I have come to appreciate just how important and complex museum operations are. Every time something significant has occurred to me in relation to museumstudies， I have written it down. Whether these ideas derive from overseas data or from the reality of museum operations within Taiwan， my hope has always been that they would be of benefit to the development of the museum. This is why ， following on from Museum Administration， Widescreen Views of Fine Arts Museum， and Museum Marketing Strategies，I have written the present volume， in the hope that it will be prove to be a useful reference work ， particularly today when the museum sector is enjoying such rapid development in Taiwan.
