The Politics of Development：A Survey

Heloise Weber is Senior Lecturer in the School of Political Science and International Studies, The University of Queensland, Australia. She has published widely on the global politics of development, inequalities and poverty reduction strategies, as well as on theoretical and methodological concerns in and around the global political economy of development and inequalities. She is co-editor (with M. T. Berger) of Recognition and Redistribution: Beyond International Development (2009) and co-author (with M. T Berger) of Rethinking the Third World: International Development and World Politics (forthcoming). She is currently working on a book on the global politics of microcredit and poverty.
