商品簡介
This two-volume digest stands on the shoulders of "The Case Law of the International Court," published in 1952, prepared by Edvard Hambro, the Court's first registrar. He presented condensed versions of the Court's pronouncements, clearly stating in his introduction that the digest was intended as a guide to points of interest but was definitely not intended as a substitute for direct reference to the decisions themselves. The present work is structured somewhat differently from that first publication; but its purpose continues as a thoroughly-indexed reference affording access to the Court's judgments, opinions, and reasoning--condensed, but not distorted. For scholars, practitioners, and students of international public law. Editor Dahlhoff is a lawyer in Berlin, retired as a German ambassador. Martinus Nijhoff is an imprint of Brill.
