Welcome to the Chemical Theatre ─ The Urban Chronotope in Peter Ackroyd's Fiction

Komsta presents students, academics, researchers, and general-interest readers with a discussion of the evolving urban chronotype as expressed in selected novels written by British author Peter Ackroyd. The author has organized the main body of her text in five chapters devoted to analysis of ten of Ackroyd’s texts from a variety of perspectives. The novels examined include The Great Fire of London, The Clerkenwell Tales, The House of Doctor Dee, The Fall of Troy, and Three Brothers.
