近來，決策對個人也好，對企業也好，漸漸成為相當重要的課題。因為做錯了決策以致奪走企業壽命的例子屢見不鮮，此種傾向在不透明感愈形濃厚的現代社會中更為強烈。並且，隨著社會的系統化進展，決策的影響比以往更深且廣。決策必須是從複雜交織的要素中慎重的制訂出來。太單純的斷章取義恐有疏忽重要要素之風險，相反的利用太複雜的手法又很難臨機應變。究竟有無簡便的方法可以均衡的引進多樣要素呢？因應此要求所出現的方法即為AHP（Analytic Hierarchy Process：層級分析法）。此層級分析法為1971年匹茲堡大學教授沙第(Thomas L.
