Longquan wares were made mainly in Zhejiang province over a period of over sixteen hundred years, from the 3rd to the 19th centuries. There are two outstanding features of the beautiful Longquan ceramics, one is that the body is made of porcelain, and the other, that the glaze contains kaolin in its composition. This gives Longquan ware unique colour and quality.The body is smooth and dense, the glaze either unctuous or shiny, the colour a myriad shades of kingfisher blue and jade green. The result of development of porcelain technology at Longquan was a tough, attractive, and versatile celadon material that was ideally suited for export. 城市永續環境行動的美麗，開展於以低碳社區為行動基礎的永續願景，以行動參與者為中心，編織低碳永續家園夢想，並實踐這個美麗的藍圖。本書建構了臺灣在地性的制度分析發展架構（Taiwan Institutional Analysis Development, TW-IAD, Framework），並發現城市永續環境行動參與者種類愈多元，未必有助於行動成果的達成，蓋異質多元參與者類型雖可提升行動樣態的豐富性，但分歧偏好卻使集體共識難以達成，故可能磨損了多元性價值的正面效益。參與者特質屬於志工、環境友善傾向及降低災害風險的實作者，其參與程度有助於環境永續行動成果的實踐。但相對地，公司、企業等營利性質參與者，其參與投入往往不利於低碳永續家園的實踐，故提倡綠色經濟發展及相關產業鏈串聯，實踐綠色經濟價值應為當務之急。

現代版的郵輪產業，若從北美工業的發展史來看，可以追溯到上個世紀的七○年代，亦即經歷了一個日益增長的普及過程，更成為旅遊業的一個重要區塊，也可視為一個遍及全球的（World-wide）重要經濟因子。　全球海運市場自2009年金融海嘯以來長期的萎靡不振，算是經營最為艱困的產業之一，但唯獨郵輪業是海運與休閒旅遊市場中成長最快速的區塊，回顧自1990年代至2000年代之間，郵輪市場幾呈倍數成長，每年成長率（Annual growth rate）約達7%，實屬海運產業的異數，更創造出一個郵輪史上無比輝煌的新時代。　郵輪產業提供多樣化的運輸模式結合現代化的港口服務，成就了郵輪作為消費者度假的優先選擇，因而被業界稱為抗危機產業（A crisis-resistant industry）。策略上，郵輪業者鎖定目標為越來越多的富裕客戶群提供服務，每年為來自世界各地數百萬乘客提供令人興奮、多元與輕鬆愉快的體驗。　國內有關郵輪的相關研究與探討始於最近幾年，期間郵輪產業卻又因遭逢新冠病毒疫情肆虐停擺三年，因而少有具體書冊可資海事與觀光旅遊相關科系學子研讀。　筆者在基隆港任職引水人期間，有幸恭逢兩岸開放海運直航，及至九○年代後期國內海上旅遊風氣大盛，故而創下個人引領七百餘艘大型郵輪的記錄。然而深感一般國人對於郵輪的認知僅止於光彩亮麗的船身，以及各式精緻誘人的美食，卻不知道投入與運航一艘大型郵輪的幕後艱辛，為此筆者特就郵輪產業的營運特質，以及自身在職場的所見所聞撰寫本書，期以讓國人對郵輪的經營運作多所認識。

A Contemporary History of the Chinese Zheng traces the twentieth- and twenty-first-century development of an important Chinese musical instrument in greater China.The zheng was transformed over the course of the twentieth century, becoming a solo instrument with virtuosic capacity. In 1992, while presenting at the World Futures Studies Federation course on International Development, I shifted my lecture from the typical rehearsed presentation on factors explaining maldevelopment to a real time unpacking/deconstruction of transportation futures. As I, we, worked through the analysis, alternatives organically emerged. The four levels were: first, the problem or the litany – congestion and pollution. Second the causes: too many cars and desire for more cars, rising incomes, traditional infrastructure that was not car flow friendly, among other factors. Third, the Big City outlook, westernization, and the "Los Angelization" of the planet. And fourth, West is best with cars as freedom, as individuality. We understood that the government would take a technical approach of creating flyovers and not the deeper required to rethink centre-periphery relations – to decentralize - to reimagine Bangkok as a walkable and green city.
