商品簡介
Environmental law scholars in Europe and the US analyze the distribution of powers in environmental issues, and the more specific field of the management and protection of water resources, in a number of legal systems, including the European Union. The arrangement is by the overall constitutional approach to the vertical division of powers. The European Union is considered a special case of quasi-federalism and treated by itself. Classical federal models include the US, Germany, and Switzerland. Regional models are presented by Spain, Italy, and Britain. The self-proclaimed unitary models include France, Poland, and the western Balkans. The series that begins here promises more comparative volumes.
