The exhibition The Color of Nature, Monochrome Art in Korea: Collections from the Busan Museum of Art, explores Korean monochromatic painting from the 1970s to the present. Modern Korean artists started reestablishing the world of nature as their primary source of inspiration in the 1970s and their expressive techniques have not been limited to complex imagery, but also emphasize the intrinsic forms of nature.
