有機栽培之雜草管理技術

有機農業是一種完全不用化學肥料、化學農藥與除草劑耕作方式，不僅可生產安全、優質的產品，同時得以維持自然生態平衡，達到環境保護與資源循環的目的。目前台灣的農業耕作方式偏重於產量的提升，過分仰賴化學肥料與農藥的使用，容易造成土壤肥力的衰退、作物生長受阻、農產品的產量及品質因而下降。為挽救前述因化學耕作方式所造成之不良現象，採行有機栽培耕作方式應為改善之道。台灣在1987年開始引進有農法之觀念，首先由農委會輔導前台灣省政府農林廳自1990年起全面推動「有機農業先驅計畫」，在全省設置簡易堆肥舍，試行有機栽培方法；並於1995年經由各區農業改良場選定農戶辦理有機栽培試作及示範觀摩會，1997年起由各區農業改良場針對所輔導的有機農戶辦理驗證及核發標章，但自2001年開始，有機農產品之驗證工作轉由民間驗證團體辦理，農政單位則負責規劃制度之建立與監督、輔導之工作。截至2006年12月底止，由4家民間驗證團體辦理驗證的農戶共達898戶，種植面積合計1,708.66公頃，其中包括水稻704.02公頃、蔬菜378.65公頃、果樹206.78公頃、茶葉70.82公頃和其他(含特作、雜糧)348.39公頃。
